Welcome to Off The Tools Co. By placing an order or using this website, you agree to these terms. They're written to be readable — no 40-page legal documents here. If something isn't clear, just ask.

Who We Are

Off The Tools Co. (ABN 66 177 144 033) operates the online store at offthetoolsco.com.au. We sell print-on-demand merchandise — primarily t-shirts, hoodies, and mugs with tradie-themed designs.

Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to place an order, or be making a purchase with the supervision of a parent or guardian. By ordering, you confirm this applies to you.

Products

All products sold by Off The Tools Co. are made to order (print-on-demand). This means:

  • Nothing is produced until after you place and pay for your order
  • Orders are fulfilled by our partner Gelato from their Australian production facility
  • Each item is unique to your order

We make every effort to accurately represent products — colours, sizing, and design placement — but minor variations can occur in print-on-demand production. This is normal and not considered a defect unless the variation is significant.

Product images on the site are representative mockups. Actual printed colours may vary slightly depending on the fabric or material and the monitor you're viewing on.

Pricing & Payment

All prices are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. We reserve the right to update pricing at any time, but the price you see at checkout is the price you pay — no surprise charges after the fact.

We accept the following payment methods via Shopify Payments:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • American Express
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay

Payment is charged at the time of order. All transactions are processed securely. We do not store full payment card details.

Orders

Once you place an order, you'll receive an order confirmation email. This confirms we've received your order — it does not yet confirm fulfilment.

We reserve the right to cancel an order if:

  • There's a pricing error on our end
  • Payment fails or is disputed
  • The order is flagged as fraudulent
  • We're unable to fulfil it for a legitimate operational reason

If we cancel your order for any reason, you'll receive a full refund.

Order changes or cancellations by the customer: Because orders go into production quickly, we cannot guarantee changes or cancellations after an order is placed. Contact us immediately at support@offthetoolsco.com.au if you need to amend or cancel. We'll do our best, but once production has started, it may not be possible.

Shipping

We ship to Australian addresses only. Estimated delivery is 5–11 business days from order date (2–4 business days production + 3–7 business days shipping). Full details are in our Shipping Policy.

Returns & Refunds

Because all items are made to order, we do not accept change-of-mind returns or size exchanges. We do replace or refund items that are defective, damaged, or incorrectly fulfilled. Full details are in our Returns & Refunds Policy.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Intellectual Property

All designs, branding, and content on offthetoolsco.com.au are owned by Off The Tools Co. or used with permission. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our designs without written permission.

By purchasing a product, you receive the physical item. You do not receive any intellectual property rights to the design on it.

Acceptable Use

When using this website, you agree not to:

  • Submit false, fraudulent, or misleading information
  • Use the site for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to disrupt or interfere with the site's operation
  • Scrape, copy, or harvest content without permission

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for legitimate reasons.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Off The Tools Co.'s liability for any claim arising from a purchase is limited to the value of the order in question. We're not liable for indirect losses (lost time, missed events, etc.) caused by delivery delays or product issues, except where required by Australian Consumer Law.

We take reasonable care to ensure the site operates correctly, but we can't guarantee it'll always be available or error-free. We're not responsible for losses arising from site outages or technical issues.

Privacy

We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms by reference.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Australian courts. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law apply regardless of anything else in these terms.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Continuing to use the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
